Jason’s deli Makes a Splash with Students
Each year the Briscoe Junior High band directors like to reward their students’ hard work with a special outing at the end of the school year. This May, the group decided to take their kids to Schlitterbahn Water Park in Galveston, TX.
On the morning of their trip, the bands performed at a contest where each band earned superior ratings with one band receiving Best in Class. Immediately after the contest, the group was off to the water park!
After hard work in the morning and hours in the Texas heat, the students, chaperones, and band directors alike all needed one thing: FOOD! What do you feed a group of growing kids after a long day in the heat? Luckily for the hungry students, the Briscoe band directors are a sharp bunch and knew exactly how to deliver on such a tall order. When the students arrived at their busses at the end of the day, they were greeted by 143 box lunches specially delivered for the group by Jason’s deli.
The kids neatly lined up to receive their ham, turkey, garden, or roast beef sandwiches, complete with chips, a pickle, and a cookie, of course, and proceeded to their seat on the bus. When all is said and done, it’s mighty hard to top a bus full of happy students quietly filling their bellies with good-for-you yummies.
